As the title of this video suggests, we are discussing Alcohol, Tobacco and Music Licenses associated with eateries and even bars, sort of bar and grill, restaurants, food and beverage establishments here in Thailand. 

Something that folks really don't take into account is that yes Thailand does have an Alcohol Licensing scheme. We have discussed it at length in other videos on this channel specifically, as well as Tobacco and Music license even because music which is put on, which is played, which is pre-recorded music, canned music so-called, you need a license due to copyright issues here in the Kingdom. So if you do have a bar, bar and grill, restaurant, eatery, even a food and beverage stand something like this, if you are selling alcohol, selling tobacco - tobacco even becomes kind of an issue if you allow people to smoke on the premises because then the presumption could arise that tobacco was sold on the premises - so generally speaking it is always prudent to have it Tobacco License as well whether or not one is selling. Then also you have got the issue of Music licensure which again comes down to copyright.

These are kind of standard licenses that are associated with the setup of a restaurant here in the Kingdom or again, it doesn't have to be a restaurant, food and beverage, bar and grill, that kind of thing these are all going to be, a pub for example, a pub would need all these type of licenses. So again, these are requirements that are associated with setting up these type of businesses here in the Kingdom of Thailand.
