Co-Working Spaces and Corporate Domicile in Thailand
Transcript of the above video:
As the title of this video suggests, we are discussing so-called Co-Working spaces and Corporate Domicile in Thailand. I thought of making this video after reading a recent article from the Bangkok Post, bangkokpost.com the article is titled: Thailand a top Digital Nomad destination. Quoting directly: "Chiang Mai is known for its fine co-working spaces, while Krabi is more picturesque and offers easy access to some of the country's best beaches."
So again, I urge those who are watching this video, go read that article for yourselves, the thrust of it goes a different way but for the purposes of this video, we are talking about so called co-working spaces. If you maintain a Company here in the Kingdom, it is going to be required especially for Work Permit issuance to have a corporate domicile; all companies have to have a registered corporate address. Then there are other considerations which come into play when you are dealing with things like Work Permits, you are dealing with things like Tax Certification, Labour Certification and even inspections by both Immigration and the Department of Employment. Those are going to be undertaken at the given local government office, excuse me, at the local office wherever your Company is located generally speaking. Now inspectors, they all do things a little different but rest assured, if they have nothing else to go on they will go off the registered address.
So the thing to take away from this video is yeah Co-Working spaces can be great. We have clients that utilize them. So-called virtual offices can also be useful. We provide and assist and facilitate a number of different solutions associated with maintaining a corporate presence here in the Kingdom of Thailand.
