Corporate Bank Account Services In Thailand?

Transcript of the above video:

As the title of this video is just, we are discussing Corporate Banking here in Thailand. This is something that comes up quite a little bit with regard to doing business here in Thailand. Those looking to set up a Thai Company for example, oftentimes are interested in getting a Corporate Account set up as well. This is a major benefit obviously for wanting to do business and especially for conducting international business as it is effectively impossible to deal with larger businesses or more established businesses in an international context if one does not actually have their Bank Account.

So one thing, I don't usually really just make videos where we say "hey we can do this service", but we often do assist clients in getting Bank Accounts for their Corporate entity here in the Kingdom. Now generally speaking, this is oftentimes it comes part and parcel or maybe I shouldn't say part and parcel, but it sort of comes connected to services associated with getting folks set up with a company here in Thailand and we do set up a number of companies each year here in Thailand and get people Business Visas, Work Permits etc., associated with getting set up with a corporation here in Thailand.

The other big thing that we often assist folks with here in Thailand is banking. It sort of follows on from the initial corporate matter. So yes, it is possible to get a Corporate Account here in Thailand. Corporate Banking here in Thailand is slightly different than it is back in the West; in many ways it is almost kind of a throwback. We still utilize things like current accounts, savings accounts, checking accounts. You have to connect the accounts, there is online banking, all of that and it can be rather Byzantine. I don't think anyone would argue with me when I say that look dealing with Thai banking matters it's not like anything in the West where it is pretty straightforward. Yeah, there is a lot of paperwork involved especially with regard to a corporation, especially as it pertains to a foreign national running a corporation here in Thailand, it can be rather complex and it can require a great deal of documentation.

So for those who are interested in getting set up with a Bank Account for a corporation here in Thailand, it might not be a terrible idea to contact a legal professional, gain some insight guidance into how best to proceed.
