Audited Financial Statements for Small Companies in Thailand

Transcript of the above video:

As the title of this video suggests, we are discussing Audited Financial Statements associated with small businesses here in Thailand, small companies.

We deal with a number of corporate entities here in Thailand medium, somewhat large and small and generally speaking, I think folks that are getting into dealing with an SME here in Thailand oftentimes don't really think about the importance of their Audited Financial Statement. In point of fact, on a yearly basis this needs to be filed. Failure to do so can lead to some rather dire consequences most notably fines and possibly even the issuance of a criminal warrant if it is left to languish for long enough. So basically on a yearly basis, this documentation all needs to be compiled and then it needs to be filed.

Another notable aspect of an Audited Financial Statement is the fact that it is going to be part and parcel of an ongoing Business Visa application as well as Work Permit applications as a Company especially possibly a small business, someone who is self-employed, as that Company goes on, as it moves forward as time goes on, that documentation is going to be requested by Thai Immigration especially and for this reason it is a good idea to stay on top of keeping Audited Financial Statements on a company filed.
