The Propaganda of Fake Foreign Tax "Stamp-Pimps" in Thailand?
Transcript of the above video:
As the title of this video suggests, we are discussing Tax Stamp-Pimps yet again. Let me preface this by saying I am not going to go into a big hyperbolic rage, okay? I want to tell everybody, I have been getting a little upset lately and I have got to be honest with you, it's because a lot of it is coming from these tax Stamp-Pimps because they are here illegally; they are causing all sorts of consternation in Thailand. And I also view them as directly attacking on a certain level this country, at a sovereign level, and why? Why do I feel that way? Because of what Trump said in his Executive Order rejecting OECD. He cited and he noted the term “extra territoriality”. That word is a very, very loaded term and what do I mean "a loaded term"? It's a loaded term insofar as it seems to say very little and I tried to convey this in a prior video where I was talking about Embassies and Chanceries and things and I don't think I got it across. What he's saying is it impinges on sovereign prerogatives of the United States, and it's my same problem with this entire Globalist Tax Authority that they wanted to create under OECD which I think is effectively dead as a global institution, but it seems some of these foreign, fake foreign tax stamp-pimps and they're fake because they are in Thailand illegally by the way, pursuant to the Restricted Occupations, trying to consult regarding Thai Tax matters. No foreigner has the right to do that in Thailand, period, end of discussion. But more to the point, they are advising people to Thailand’s sovereign detriment. That's the extra-territorial issues that Trump was bringing up in his Executive Order destroying the OECD as it pertained to America. And this is why I get so upset at these foreign interlopers, coming into my adopted country and trying to pull the same crap that they just pulled on my birth country. That's my problem, and as passionate as I might get, as you can see, I'm very composed on this issue, I'm just passionate.
Quoting directly from a recent comment on our channel: "6 months ago, I checked with a Thai Legal Company in Bangkok, and they told me the same thing as Ben has posted. Thai tax law has not changed regardless of the new memo from Thailand Revenue Department. Can this be re-emphasized please Ben."
So okay, the point I'm trying to make here, one) look I understand the regulators, they have two things going on. They have adjudicatory functions on a practical level, and they also have a sort of brand that they have to kind of put out there. And look Revenue Department, tax collectors, whatever you want to call them, they are never going to go out there and say you owe less tax, okay? Their party line, their kind of constant prerogative if you will is no, no you owe, pay! Basically. That's how they think. For those out there especially in the Thai sort of tax regulator community, you know me. I've been here for nearly 20 years; I haven't gotten bent out of shape about anything having to do with tax until very, very recently and my concerns are these foreign interlopers trying to inject outside sovereign prerogatives into the analysis of tax matters here in Thailand. That is my concern. I understand people may or may not have tax liability in Thailand.
Now another issue I have is this whole notion that they can interpret through rule-making affirmative duties that simply don't exist under promulgated law. I have real problems with that, especially in light of the Doctrine of Codification but the point I wanted to make with this video if I haven't driven it home enough, is my main problem with these foreign tax Stamp-Pimps is one) they are operating illegally here in clear violation of clear Thai law. And secondly) they are in my opinion coming over here to subvert Thailand’s prerogatives in the sphere of tax. I don't think that's good for Thailand; I don't think that's good for America; I don't think that's good for anybody.
