As the title of this video suggests, I'm just saying, hey stop simping for foreign tax stamp-pimps here in Thailand. As I have discussed in other videos, foreign nationals who are not Thai, have no right whatsoever to be commenting on Thai Tax Policy, and it's illegal. As we have discussed in other videos - and I have cited it directly - foreigners providing tax consultation is in direct contravention to the Restricted Occupations here in Thailand. Such professional activities are reserved to Thais only. On top of that, they should be reserved to somebody who actually has some insight into the Thai Tax System, not a foreign agent of the IRS, a foreign Government Tax Authority, which is exactly what they are. Their name is Enrolled Agent as I've discussed in other videos. Now that being said, I keep getting all these emails from idiot simps who want to tell me how the cow ate the cabbage, so let's go through this and do this on this channel.

So, I got an email from whoever, and I love that you guys want to remain anonymous. Just send me an email; be a man. Quoting directly: "To whom it may concern, please have Ben read below. He is repeating blatantly false information", and then he goes on giving me all the IRS's own definition of what an “enrolled agent” is, so he sends me these links, and then quoting further: "IRS enrolled agents don't work for the IRS; do not have any Authority regarding US taxes; do not get paid by the IRS. IRS enrolled agents just pass an extremely easy exam that allows the agent to represent taxpayers in disputes against the IRS. That's it." What are you talking about? Their name is "agent". So I sent back: "I don't care how they internally define themselves, the word "agent" has legal meaning, as we discussed in other videos." It basically means somebody who represents a principle, okay? And if you get into business associates, as I discussed in one video, I had a Professor Ramirez back at Washburn Law, taught us a lot about business associations. "Agency" - the person stands in for the agent, the principal and the agent are effectively the same person from a legal standpoint. That's the point I'm trying to make. The principle and the agent, the principal represents the agent, but the flow through liability is such as if they are the same thing. The reason it came up in Business Associations is from a limited liability standpoint. Professor Ramirez was talking about how when he used to be in practice, he used to bash certain companies over the head that thought they were hiding behind other companies that acted like holding companies or front companies but he would use Agency Law because it pulls them both together. How does it pull them together? They are effectively the same person; that's the legal fiction created by Agency, by the term Agent. What do you think the Government is talking in? Tongues? They are using legal terminology. "Agent" has a legal meaning as I gave to this person; I shot him over to the Cornell website and then, it's like my time isn't wasted enough, I have got to keep getting correspondence from these people that don't know what they are talking about, and I am tired of receiving your harassment and abuse, so I'm just going to read this stuff and refute it here. Quoting further: "The enrolled agent represents taxpayers in disputes against the IRS." How can the Agency that created the Agent. Attorneys represent people against the State. The IRS created this thing; it's called an Agent. Now what they do and how they act as an agent, when you hear the word agent, they could be a secret agent; they could be James Bond; they could be a Film and TV Agent like Ari Gold on Entourage. There is not one specific function. I'm talking about the legal relationship. I don't care how they internally organize themselves; I don't care about how the internal workings between Agent and Principal works. Their name is Agent. And again they are not representing against disputes with the IRS, they are facilitating their master, their principal getting more money, that's their function. They are not out bashing people over the head - you gather more flies with honey - but that is still their function. They are an agent gathering up money for their principal, the IRS. Is this really that hard to understand? Quoting further: "Please read and understand. Enrolled Agents exist because the cost to hire a CPA to fight an IRS case is a minimum of $200 an hour and at least $2,000, and the cost to hire a CPA/Attorney is 500 an hour but complex cases I know bill at 1500 an hour. EA bill fractions of above and deal with very simple low cost, low dollar disputes." Yeah, I don't mind a parasite, I have an issue with a cut rate one. That's what these people are. They are parasites; they are feeding on the American expat community over here by acting as tax stamp-pimps, and that is a term of art, and it comes from our revolution in America, and I'm not going to stop using it because it precisely describes what these people are doing over here. They are not representing anybody but their own interests, and then what, you are going to get sympathy from me that they are coming in and knocking the legs out of people that are legitimate professionals that weren't created by an agency as a feint to get you to pay in more money to them? Do you really not see the con that has been set up in this entire narrative that has thus forth gone on as a result of this foreign stamp-pimp's fricking activities here. He has stirred up all of this. Do you really not see it? How is that not an agent of the IRS? Quoting further: "Typical EA job: IRS sends out $2,000 penalty, taxpayer can pay.” Whatever.

I'm not going to read the rest of this nonsense of your thoughts on how it works. I don't care how you think it works. Agency has a legal definition. They are called Enrolled Agents, okay? You want to be ignorant; you want to walk around like it's 1984 and ignorance is strength, be my guest, okay? The people on this channel are not going to get that kind of nonsensical information. And I'm hoping that somebody with some level of responsibility and integrity will step up within both the American Government as well as the Thai Government and get these foreign operatives out of this country operating illegally here and I don't know why they are doing it. To what end? How does this help the Thai American Alliance? It's completely outside the parameters of the Treaty of Amity. It's completely outside the parameters of the Restricted Occupations. But here we are just letting it go. You know what? I'm going to do a video. Fine. This is how it is going to be. I am going to start rooting this stuff out; I'm going to start noting these scams because apparently, Law Enforcement doesn't care, our own Embassy doesn't particularly seem to care about us expats as we are being attacked by foreign stamp-pimps. This is just nonsense and I'm sick of it. Yeah, I am going to start exposing this stuff, so stay tuned folks because you are going to find out about all the fakes and frauds here in Thailand.
