Best to "Pay for Companionship Services" or Feel the Wrath of Thai Ladyboys?

Transcript of the above video:

I have done another video on this before where some tourists got into it with ladyboys in the past. I've also made videos in the past of basically a battle royale involving Philippine and Thai ladyboys some years back down on Soi 11 where even the police were like, "ahh we're going to step out of this for a moment. Let this thing burn itself out."  Transgender folks, this isn't a video in any way to be pejorative.

That said, the point of the video is, and I don't know who did what here. It looks to me like - that's the reason why I'm not even making this called Foreigners Behaving Badly - it's like, is everyone wrong in this thing? I don't know. But at the end of the day, I guess the point that I'm trying to make with this video is if you don't want to see these really extreme situations like we are going to describe here, whatever services you are trying to seek from someone, perhaps just pay for them; one man's opinion.

That said, I found this from The Pattaya News, but at The Pattaya News over on X. Quoting directly: "Early morning bystanders and tourists were shocked this morning when two transgender women in their birthday suits chased an Indian tourist with a brick near Pattaya Beach Road after the tourist allegedly did not pay for companionship services at a nearby hotel and fled on foot. A Pattaya Municipal Officer saw the confrontation and got involved, giving the two transgender women towels and arranging a mediation between both parties (or all parties)."

Yeah, so if you don't want butt naked lady boys chasing you down the street with a brick in Pattaya, maybe keep your word, if you had some sort of deal with them; that would just be my general advice to anybody in Thailand. If you skipped out on a dinner bill too, I would say that wouldn't be a good idea either.

I do sometimes like making these videos because can only in Thailand can you make, like can you do a news report about this. It's like when we talked about the battle royale down on Soi 11, whatever it was, a year or two back. I said at the time it's like look one of the reasons I left Kansas is you don't hear any of these stories back in Kansas. Back in Kansas you don't hear about two naked transgender people chasing a guy with a brick down the street. In any event, I'm not laughing at anyone's position or anything. It is serious and clearly the police got involved. I hope, and I urge those who are watching this video go check out X, go to the whole story; I hope everything worked out for everyone.

But I guess the point of this video is to just say look, I guess, to quote the movie Roadhouse, Patrick Swayze, "be nice"; that's basically the lesson to be learned here. Whoever you are dealing with, whatever their background, whatever capacity in Thailand, do what you say you're going to do, and be nice.
