"Everyday Heroes" In Thailand?

Transcript of the above video:

As the title of this video suggests, we are discussing so-called ‘everyday heroes’ in Thailand. I thought of making this video after reading a recent article from the Thai Examiner, that is thaiexaminer.com, the article is titled: UK man saved by Thai girlfriend, onlookers and 7/11 staff after early hours stabbing in Phuket on Saturday. Quoting directly: "Everyday Heroes as stabbed UK tourist, in Phuket street fight, is saved by his Thai girlfriend, local members of the public and 7/11 staff. (Name redacted-I am not going to use names), severely injured in an early morning attack, sought refuge in a convenience store where a quick response by his girlfriend and good Samaritans insured his survival." Quoting further: "A UK man stabbed in a street fight melee sought refuge in the early hours of Saturday morning at a 7-Eleven convenience store in the Bangla area of Patong. (Again name redacted) was severely injured in the attack. Indeed the UK tourist coughed up blood and fell to the floor as he staggered while asking someone to summon emergency services. His Thai girlfriend together with Samaritans and convenience store staff helped to give him first aid before medics arrived to whisk him away to Patong Hospital nearby."

Yeah, and I urge those who are watching this video, go and read that article. As usual, Thai Examiner gets very detailed. A lot of good insight in there. It looked like some other foreigner instigated some fight; this person got sort of caught in the crossfire, got caught in the whirlpool if you will, and ended up quite injured. But as usual, it really is the everyday Thais that make Thailand quite honestly and it's one of the many things I've come to fall in love with in Thailand is just the kindness of strangers, for lack of a better term. The Thais are generally just kind to one another and try to be nice to people just as a general matter and as noted in this article, these Thais came to this person's rescue in his time of need and I'm sure he's very grateful for it.

So yeah, I just thought this was worth making a video about just to remind people that the folks that live here in Thailand are really quite nice people and they are really quite good hearted people, and at the end of the day they really do go out of their way to try and help people.
