Announcing The Opening Of A Pattaya Office
Transcript of the above video:
As I have introduced in a prior video, a new colleague here at the firm Mr. Andrew d'Adesky. He is going to be assisting me with something I think is really quite cool which is we have and are, I guess sort of in the process, but I would say that yeah we have opened a new office down in Pattaya. Now I have been trying to decide what to call this; maybe "new office" is just the right word. I think of it as a sort of annex to the main operations up here out of Bangkok. But I wanted to go ahead and make this video first of all to announce the opening of the Office and secondly so the people understand, this man right here is going to be my point man in Pattaya moving forward. For those who know me pretty well, you know I spend a fair bit of time in Pattaya. Most weeks I am down there at least a couple of days out of the week, usually toward the weekend which is one of the best times to be in Pattaya. But that said, I am looking to go ahead and start to expand our scope of service to folks down there.
To that end, and we are going to do some other videos contemporaneously with this one, we are going to be doing some video talking about things like for Americans especially, and this is why again, this young man right here is going to be my right hand down there because quite honestly, I am not capable of sort of doing both things at once. I need somebody down there to help me but things like US Passport renewals, obviously US Immigration; I have been doing that for years and things like Consular Reports of Birth Abroad, so called CRBAs and even assisting with facilitation of things like notarization for Americans down in the Eastern Corridor, I think we can provide some value at least in terms of being able to act as sort of a conduit for getting some things done up here in Bangkok and what came to my mind is the most pressing thing for most foreigners to get done from Bangkok, especially Americans, is going to be things like passport renewals, CRBAs and those kinds of things. For anybody that is aware, I have done another video over on the main Integrity Legal channel where we talk about yeah passport renewals, especially for you older guys out there that aren't real computer literate, passport renewals are becoming a little bit of a cumbersome thing. Now it is not the most difficult project in the world. I am not saying you can't do it yourself, like many things it is possible but for those out there who would like some extra service and especially based in Pattaya to be able to come to an office, have somebody assist them directly with things like getting the passport renewed. And believe me, this thing is mostly by mail now; there is a whole digital sort of platform to it; there is sort of the digital payment function associated with it, I thought about reading, I recently was assisting a client here in the firm in getting his passport sorted out - older guy, American guy - and he just said, wow this thing, they just made it in his mind sort of unnecessarily complicated; the necessity of the complication I think reasonable people can maybe disagree but whatever. Long story short, it is not the most fun process to deal with and especially for again you older folks out there who need some assistance with this just because quite honestly you are not as tech savvy, like I said I think this is the perfect guy because I met him literally from being on YouTube, from being out in the ether of the internet, this is the guy be able to assist folks with American matters in Pattaya. And I am happy to be assisting guys down there in Pattaya. I am very excited about it. I think we are going to be able to really help some folks down there face to face, in person in Pattaya.
Yeah so we are really looking forward to getting this going and again, like with everything we still do corporate setups; we are still doing everything we do up here in Bangkok but again we are going to be operating out of Pattaya. Now how much we are going to be doing some of the stuff that we do up here remains to be seen. I expect that in short order, young Andrew here will probably be somewhat inundated with documents. Look at the end of the day it is kind of a paper chase and if you can get somebody to help you sort out something and maybe shave off a couple of weeks of processing time or you have got kind of, I won't say an inside track, but you have a sort of a depth of knowledge where you are kind of aware how the process works, I have been dealing with the Embassy doing Consular services, especially Consular processing and just stuff associated with the Consulate side over there; I have been doing that for going on 16 years now. So again, so I can't be everywhere at once which is why we have Andrew down in Pattaya but at the end of the day, it would be me that would be sort of looking over this young man's shoulder, kind of giving him some guidance as and when necessary. I don't think he is going to need much. An American Attorney is going to be well versed in dealing with this kind of thing. Again, and somebody who is well-versed at dealing with the computer is also going to be well suited for this gig but at the end of the day, yeah, we are again just the same old general practice office that we have always been, so feel free to contact us about matters pertaining to anything legal related down in Pattaya.
