As the title of this video suggests, we are discussing Due Diligence. We are specifically discussing this in the context of PPE; that is Personal Protective Equipment, things like masks and gloves.

In the past year there has been a great deal of demand and we have also seen quite frankly some less than above board activity from operators who are basically scamming people in Thailand; basically in some cases just outright pretending that they are an operation that can export PPE, masks and gloves, to other places. This is why Due Diligence is key. By Due Diligence, it means following up on the counterparty before making any substantial and possibly irrevocable financial transactions so as to avoid losing a bunch of money basically. 

We have assisted folks in ascertaining whether or not someone is legitimate. Oftentimes it is the case that yeah that is a legitimate operation and they are operating in Thailand but it is a good idea if you are seeing somebody on the internet or something that is claiming to be able to provide certain equipment at a certain price or whatever especially if it is high dollar transactions, and usually these are because it is usually rather bulk transactions, it is really a good idea to go ahead and do your due diligence and ascertain whether or not this person is a reputable operator or this entity, this company is a reputable operator in Thailand again before making any irrevocable financial transactions.
