"Eastern Region Sports Stadium" In Thailand's EEC?

Transcript of the above video:

As the title of this video suggests, we are discussing a new Sports stadium in Thailand's Eastern Economic Corridor. I thought of making this video after reading a recent article from the Pattaya Mail, that is pattayamail.com, the article is titled: Prime Minister Srettha Thavisin tackles tourism, stadium and waste issues in Pattaya. Quoting directly, and I urge those who are watching this video go check out that article in detail. Quoting directly: "In addition to his visit to Koh Larn, Prime Minister Srettha also inspected the Phase 3 construction of the Eastern Region Sports Stadium in South Chaiyapruek, East of Pattaya. The football stadium, which is set to have a capacity of 20,000 seats, is anticipated to be completed by December 2025. Mayor Poramet shared that the Prime Minister discussed the project' completion and emphasized its potential to boost tourism by hosting world-class concerts."

Well the other thing to bear in mind is the Eastern Corridor is being designed to be a major Entrepôt not only for trade but, also technological development. They are putting in Smart City infrastructure in certain aspects, parts of the EEC. They are improving the infrastructure substantially including the high-speed rail systems which are currently being built, and we are looking at a situation where this will be a very fast moving I expect and quite a bustling hub of international trade - both maritime, air and even land trade - here in Southeast Asia. I also imagine that just by dint of the Pattaya community being so large and robust, I expect we will also probably see quite a bustling little city start to grow up between, I expect there to be kind of like an urban corridor at a certain point between sort of Bangkok going down into the three provinces which make up this Eastern Economic Corridor, namely Chachoengsao, Chonburi and Rayong. I expect these to be heavily urbanized as time goes on and the addition of a major stadium for major events and venues is probably just one more indicator of just how urbanized that area is likely to be moving forward.
