Excessive Intrusive Tax and Wealth Redistribution Is NOT "Giving"?

Transcript of the above video:

As the title of this video suggests, we are discussing unfortunately, yet more of this talk about tax, wealth redistribution, all of this World Economic Forum shuck ‘n’ jive; let me just jump in here. I thought of making this video after reading a recent article from the Thai Examiner, that is thaiexaminer.com, the article is titled: Huge economic change as Reverse Tax Plan is being pushed by the Phue Thai government as it battles on. Yeah, economic change if what we are talking about is imposing Neo-communistic totalitarianism. Quoting further: "Thailand will require annual tax returns for all citizens and businesses by 2027 to expand revenues." Now again, this Government wants to do this. This is not necessarily a foregone conclusion and as this Government's position is currently precarious and there is a very good chance it might not be in the same position some weeks from now, I am hopeful that we can reverse course on this.

That said, let's quote further, and by the way I do get into a deep dive of that kind of analysis in our paid news service. For those who are interested in that, you can email us [email protected], we can give you information about getting on the email list for the long-form videos where I do get into this stuff in depth, and how it has an impact on expat land, especially on foreigners who want to do business here, on foreigners who want to live here, Banking and tax issues specifically, just kind of my take on where things are going both domestically and internationally, politically, here in Southeast Asia. Also while I'm talking my book, it's worth pointing out that my better half and I have set up a restaurant here in downtown Bangkok. It's called Pancake Palace. As the name implies, breakfast anytime and American Diner style food, again breakfast anytime. Link is in the description below.

Quoting further: "On Friday he renewed his plea on X saying the Government cannot shoulder the burden alone." And by "he", they are talking about former Prime Minister Srettha Thavisin, who by the way went to the World Economic Forum and in many ways tried to undermine Thailand's economy during his term of office, most notably when he unilaterally said to the French President that Thailand was going to recriminalize Cannabis even though there was no basis and fact for that. That said, quoting further: "Quote: "The budget is limited but our hearts are unlimited," he wrote, urging those with resources to help those without." Yeah, it's all of this kumbaya nonsense when they try and impose this kind of communistic stuff. You need to check out - I'll try to put links in the description below; I will try to remember this on this video - Yuri Bezmonov. Yuri Bezmonov talks about, what was it called, demoralization and basically how they come in, and it is all this talk of, "everything is going to be great, we are helping each other, each according to his ability, each according to his needs", and then it ends up terrible. It's just totalitarianism writ large. Quoting further: "He called for a culture of giving through taxes, direct assistance or community support." Taxes aren't giving; taxes are imposed. Now sometimes they are necessary. I'm not one of those people that believes there should be no taxes. I don't think that. I think frankly the last roughly well maybe not the last 10 years, but the 8 years prior to the past 2 years were pretty good overall. It was a pretty middle of the road kind of tax system. We could actually see where our tax money was going in terms of infrastructure projects, especially rail, especially roads, port facilities. We could see all of that. There were benefits to the overall infrastructure of the Thai economy. It's not “giving”, okay. It's a tax system, all right, and this kind of talk is exactly the kind of stuff that they roll out when they try to impose Communism. Quoting further: "Significantly the overhaul introduces a "reverse tax" or negative income tax system. Those earning above a set threshold will pay taxes as usual, while those below it will receive direct financial support." Yeah, that is wealth redistribution. That is the dole. What that does is it undermines the spirit of enterprise in a given country, while at the same time erodes away the spending capability of the people who are productive in that economy.

This is classic, classic Communist, for lack of a better term, it is really what the term is, Communist methodologies. To come in and subvert and undermine the economy of a system in order to corrode its ability to engage in free enterprise, and at the end of the day, result in prosperity for all. They want “equality” insofar as everybody is equally broke and miserable. The WEF has said it. They want us all "to own nothing and just be happy". That is what they have said in their own literature. So we have to reject this Thailand, we have to. And I'm hoping we see changes with regard to this, sooner rather than later.
