Foreigner F-s Around, Thai Ladyboys Help Him Find Out?
Transcript of the above video:
So as the thumbnail and the title probably suggests, this is a situation of F-ing around if you will and finding out. I didn't initially want to title this video that necessarily, but in the recent aftermath of the events that have occurred in Venezuela, I heard there was a recent like press conference or something and Donald Trump was asked about the situation in Venezuela and he basically said, "well they F-ed around, and they found out." I’m not going to get into everything going on in Venezuela because I don't really understand it. I'm not there, I don't have any real insight into it, so probably it's better I just don't even comment. The only reason I bring it up is that sort of got into my head like an earworm and I thought of that phrase when I was reading this recent article.
The article, there's been a lot, this has gone viral throughout Thailand in the past few days, but I'm going to go over here to Times of India, that is timesofindia.indiatimes.com, under the headline: Indian National - I was initially going to redact names associated with this but it's in the title, and I cite stuff very meticulously, so I'm going to go ahead and do that. I'm just going to name the name once. I'm not going to get into repeating it. But quoting directly: Indian national Raj Jasuja thrashed by transwomen in Thailand after allegedly refusing to pay for escort service. Quoting directly: "An Indian tourist was hospitalised after he was allegedly attacked by a group of transgender women in Thailand's Pattaya City following a dispute over payment for sex services, according to the Thaiger."
Now this just isn't a generally good idea, and I don't want to get into the morality or the ins and outs whatever of the Red Light Industry, but generally speaking, it's a good idea that if you have got an agreed services for payment setup, keep your word, because especially here in Thailand, these things tend to get dealt with at a street level sometimes. Quoting further: "The incident happened on December 27 when rescue workers from the Sawang Boriboon Foundation received a call at around 5.30am about an injured foreign tourist near the beach side entrance of Walking Street." Quoting further: "The victim was identified as 50-year-old Indian national (again I'm just going to leave names out from here) with visible injuries to his face and the back of his head, according to the responders who found him at the scene." Now if you go to the link in the description or excuse me if you go to, I'll try to put a link in the description because we did use this photo from that for the thumbnail, so link in the description below, but if you go to the link, you can see the clip, there's a Twitter link put in there, and you can go to the actual video. This was a pretty intense altercation here, okay, and let's remember biologically these ladies are pretty substantial in terms of their prowess, they're strong, okay, so act accordingly kind of deal. Quoting further: "He was given first aid before being taken to the hospital for further treatment. A 19-year-old Thai witness told police and rescue workers that the altercation began after he was seen arguing with a transgender sex worker near the entrance to Walking Street. The dispute escalated when the two began chasing and hitting each other. According to the witness, the transgender woman then called several friends, who joined in and assaulted the Indian tourist as a group." Look, again, whatever you get into, don't get in financial alterations on the street, especially with some of these folks. I did a video and the thumbnail was actually sort of ignored or something by YouTube, I did a video a couple years ago now, where there was like what can only be described as a full-on melee on Soi 11 in lower Sukhumvit between Filipina lady boys and Thai lady boys and it was a battle royale, like the cops even stepped out of it for a bit, they were like "let this burn out." Not people you want to F around with, not people you want to find out with; it's just not generally a good idea. That said, quoting further: "The dispute is believed to have started over money after the tourist allegedly did not pay the full amount agreed for the service." This is another one where I've seen some comments on some of this stuff where it says, "Well you never know, maybe they changed the price." I kind of doubt it. Most of the - just having been out here for the time that I have been out here - most folks in that field if you will, basically just want to move on; they don't want to get into altercations. So I have my, and again everything is alleged at this point. I have no idea what the underlying facts are, but I have my own suspicions regarding who was initially in the wrong. Now a whole knock down drag out fight breaking out, that's not right either. But at the end of the day things happen for a reason. There are consequences to actions, and it sounds like there was some inappropriate activity going on here insofar as there was an agreed upon arrangement that was not kept. That's what it sounds like to me.
That said, quoting further: "He has not spoken publicly about what happened. Police later told local media that officers would ask the injured tourists to file a formal complaint once he had fully recovered, after which a legal investigation would proceed." That's important. Again, we don't know all the facts here and it's easy to say, again that's the reason there is a question mark in the title, because at the end of the day, we don't know what happened. We know what it looks like and I'm commenting on that, but until there's a full adjudication, we can't say conclusively what went down here and who was at fault. Quoting further: "Similar incidents involved Indian tourists and transgender sex workers have been reported in Pattaya in recent months." - Look, can I just say to any Indian tourists out there, if you're going to engage in any services with transgender sex workers or sex workers of any kind, maybe just figure out what the deal is and stick to it. Trying to play, I don't know, the art of the deal or something going on here probably isn't a great idea. That said quoting further: "In September, an Indian man was attacked after allegedly touching a transgender woman without consent during a dispute over services. In another case in October, three Thai transwomen allegedly assaulted two Indian nationals at a hotel following an argument over payment and fled with cash worth around 24,000 baht. Thai police said the investigation is ongoing."
So yeah, I mean this isn't exactly where anybody wants to find themselves but again for anybody who's watching this and wants to take away some sort of teaching point out of this, well keep to whatever the agreement was, for both sides. If in fact the transwomen involved in this incident or individual whatever, were in fact trying to play some kind of game on their own and it resulted in this altercation, well then maybe they're in the wrong. We just don't quite know, again until there is some sort of legal adjudication, drawing a conclusion is probably not prudent. That being said, if we do hear about anything further with regard to this case, we will certainly be keeping you updated on this channel as the situation evolves.
