Go Back to Davos and Tell Them Thailand Is Free!
Transcript of the above video:
I don't have a citation to get into today; I don't have anything to quote. I just really hate the World Economic Forum with every bone in my body. I can't tell you how much I hate this organization because all it looks like it's designed to do - there's nothing good about it. It espouses Private-Public partnerships; that is its raison d'être, that is its reason for being. For Public-Private partnerships and its methodologies are that of the Comintern okay?
These are the worst totalitarians on the face of the planet. We didn't have to deal with them for a decade here in Thailand and then for some reason in their infinite wisdom, the membership of the core coalition party seems to be obsessed with the World Economic Forum and for the life of me, I can't understand why. What are we getting out of these people? Are they doing anything for us over here? Are they constituents to Thailand? Not that I can see. Do they pay any taxes here? And meanwhile, okay if you say, "oh we're promoting foreign business, we want to bring these enterprises into Thailand," fair enough, I see that. But these people seem hell bent on not helping any of the people that they go to. If anything, they look like a metastasizing cancer. They don't look like the cure for anything; they don't look like they help. All it looks like they do is they want to run around and tell everybody that "they're going to own nothing and be happy"!
So I bring up the Braveheart quote, I'm sorry, here I am out here in Southeast Asia saying, "hey, go back to Davos and you tell them there that Thailand is free".
