As the title of this video suggests, we are discussing a massive influx of Tech Sector money that seems to be imminently on the way to Thailand, hopefully. So I thought of making this video after reading a recent article from the Bangkok Post, that is bangkokpost.com, the article is titled: Tech giants to invest B300bn in Thailand. Quoting directly: "The Government has announced it has successfully courted Amazon Web Services, Google and Microsoft to invest in Thailand, with a total investment worth about 300 billion baht." As usual I urge folks to go check out that article in detail.

Long story short, it goes into the fact that it looks like Prime Minister Srettha has actually managed to woo a serious amount of investment into Thailand. Honestly I think people may think that we have sort of I don't know, political biases or something like that, I don't. I only care about Thailand quite frankly and I don't have really any kind of political bias. I also do believe that most people are operating in good faith and they may put forward proposals that they are not really thinking through all the ramifications. This is why we have a Parliament so that those things can be vetted, they can be discussed. There are things that this Government has done or is trying to do that I will personally disagree with. That said, 300 billion in foreign direct investment into Thailand, that is massive. And I can't stress enough how thankful I am quite honestly that somebody was able to woo that kind of investment into Thailand. It's a very, very good thing. I think it should be viewed very much as a sort of a "W"; put it in the "Win" column for Thailand, for everybody, for this new government whatever. But at the end of the day it results in a massive benefit to Thailand and I hope a massive technological exchange as we see these Tech Companies begin to invest here in real infrastructure so that we can see sort of the fulfillment of what we have been looking at the past few years in terms of just progress in the Eastern Economic Corridor. The infrastructure improvements we have seen in Thailand are staggering and quite honestly the Thai Business Sector, be it industry, exports and now Tech, all seem to be moving in a positive direction.
