As the title of this video suggests, we are yet again discussing Cannabis in Thailand, hot topic here right now. I thought of making this video after reading a recent article from the Bangkok Post, bangkokpost.com, the article is titled: Weed bill sees rivals take high ground. Quoting directly, this was a pretty good article, it was quite extensive, a lot of information in there. I urge those who are watching this video, go check that out for yourselves but I am going to quote a small excerpt, quote: "Almost 1 million Thais and Thai entities have been given permission from the Food and Drug Administration to plant Cannabis since last June." So I thought that was interesting. A million people or entities have now gotten some form of authorization to be able to plant and grow Cannabis in Thailand. That is a lot of folks; that is a lot of operations so those out there who are like 'well, they could always re-illegalize it', I just don't see that happening practically. I just don't see how you put that genie back in the bottle frankly. Anybody that's come over to Thailand in the last few months will know that there is a Cannabis dispensary it seems like, you can't swing a dead cat without hitting a Cannabis dispensary here in Bangkok, down in some of the resort areas. It is pretty much everywhere; it is pretty ubiquitous. I don't think it's particularly going anywhere. 

Now as we have discussed in other videos, I think we are going to see a regulatory regime. I suspect that regulatory regime will ultimately be far harsher than people are anticipating. Now exactly when that comes down remains to be seen but we will certainly keep you updated on this channel as the situation evolves.
