As the title of this video suggests, we are discussing businesses here in Thailand. This isn't exactly an opinion piece, it's just something, every once in a while I'll do one of these. Kind of a reminder, we did one at the beginning of all this lockdown stuff suggesting to people where they might get delivery food from because the restaurants had shut down at that time. We were trying to support local folks here who had restaurants. This is kind of a similar one.

We are starting to see things reopen obviously. People are coming back in. Great to see. Not trying to tell anybody what to do but understand these local Thai businesses have suffered heavily over the course of the past two and a half years. I mean and presumably things are not going to get back to the way they were for a while yet. So while I totally understand wanting to get a Big Mac and there is nothing wrong with McDonald's, there are a lot of local businesses here in Thailand, little restaurants, little tourism shops, little tourism providers, just the little guy if you will that has really been hurt, at least in a business sense by all of this shut down and the lack of Tourism and everything. I really would, I would implore folks out there who are coming into Thailand, especially for the first time, but return visitors as well and I think return visitors are a little more keen to this, but folks that are coming here, tourists wanting to hang out here for maybe a little longer than being a tourist maybe wanting to retire here please, please have a look at the local businesses around you and please, please try to support them as much as you can.
