As the title of this video suggests, we are discussing well what appears to be the prospective end it looks like the Emergency Decree will be coming to an end. Please bear in mind as of the time of this video it has yet to transpire but hopefully in a week we will be looking at a situation where in fact yes there is no longer an Emergency Decree related to this whole thing.

I thought of making this video after reading a recent article in the Pattaya Mail, that is pattayamail.com, the article is titled: Thailand to end 'State of Emergency' and dissolve 'Covid Centre' on September 30. Quoting directly: "The Centre for COVID-19 Situation Administration (CCSA) resolved to end the state of emergency nationwide on September 30 and the centre along with its 9 organizations will be dissolved at the same time, according to the Secretary-general of the National Security Council. (NSC) National Security Council Secretary General Gen. Supoj Malaniyom said CCSA agreed that the state of emergency should end on Sept. 30 and would propose the end to the Cabinet for approval next week. Responsibility for COVID-19 solutions would go to the National Communicable Disease Committee chaired by Public Health Minister Anutin Charnvirakul, Gen. Supoj said."

So that is kind of where we are at. So the CCSA is coming to an end, starting October 1 or I should say at the stroke of midnight on October 1 apparently it is going to turn into a pumpkin and we are no longer going to have to deal with that anymore. As we have discussed in other videos, it also appears that travel restrictions are also all being lifted and it couldn't have come at a more opportune time as we are going into High season here in Thailand, I definitely think this is good news. 

So the thing to take away from this video is the Emergency Decree is set to end. As of the time of this video and likely publication, it has yet to occur but it does appear based on the actions of the Thai Government that it will in fact end and it will be ending at the end of the day September 30th, 2022.
