50 Thailand Elite Visa Real Estate Projects

Transcript of the above video:

As the title of this video suggests, we are discussing the Thailand Elite Visas and Real Estate Projects associated therewith. As we have discussed in other videos on this channel, it appears that Thailand Elite is working with certain Property Development Companies to attach Elite benefits onto possible purchases of real estate in Thailand.

So in a recent article from thaivisa.com, the article is titled: Elite Card - Developers On Board in Push to Sell Real Estate to Foreign Card Holders. Quoting directly: "Already 50 real estate projects nationwide have been earmarked for foreigners in the Elite Card plans and 30 more are expected to be confirmed soon." Presumably perhaps by the end of this year, we may see 80 of these as opposed to 50. It is certainly good news.

The real estate market here in Thailand is definitely in a Buyers' Market; not particularly great times as far as sales are going but as noted in prior videos on that topic, there are a lot of opportunities out there. There are a lot of good buys and if one can gain Thailand Elite Visa status as part and parcel with a purchase of a Thai Property, a condo for example, then that is just kind of a win-win. You are getting a good deal on real estate; you are getting a good deal on long-term status here in Thailand. It should be noted Thailand Elite Visas operate in five year increments. Members of the Thailand Elite program can obtain visas in the increments of 5-10-15-20 years, or I should say they can obtain membership for the duration of those periods of time. Again, visas are issued in five year increments so you have to deal with getting a new Visa sticker every five years.

This is definitely good news. There is a lot of benefit to those who are looking to purchase Thai property in Thailand by having Elite Visa status.
