60 Day Visas On Arrival In Thailand?

Transcript of the above video:

As of today, and we are filming this on Monday, I believe we are sitting here on the 15th, and yeah as of today apparently, and I have gotten this from multiple sources, I am not going to cite anything in this video but in multiple sources I have seen both the Interior Minister and the Prime Minister have signed off on directives that would implement the new 60-day what could be called a visa-on-arrival, more accurately would be described as what's called Visa Exempt status. Basically certain passports, I believe of 93 countries, now or moving forward I should say, are going to be allowed 60 days of lawful status in the Kingdom just by presenting one's passport. So in the past you would get 30 days and you could extend it by 30; now it looks like you are going to get 60 on arrival. Whether or not you get a 30-day extension I am not sure of yet.

We are still sort of parsing through the implementation of this. As with everything, the Press comes out and says a whole lot of stuff and then it doesn't really happen and then it sort of begins to trickle through the system if you will, sort of propagate through the system and eventually it comes out on the other side in terms of hard and fast policy. Apparently this week we are seeing hard and fast policy being implemented.

Again we are dealing with this here at the front end of the week. I have yet to actually see concrete changes so as and when we do, we will certainly keep you updated on this channel as that situation evolves.
