CLARIFICATION Regarding Online 90 Day Reporting To Thai Immigration

Transcript of the above video:

I never dreamed in a million years I would be doing this many videos, on the issue of online 90-day reporting. Candidly one of the reasons there has been so much correction and clarification on this issue is honestly we do all of our 90-day reporting on behalf of our clients in the analog format so we don't generally use the online system. It's buggy, it's kind of weird; I don't love it; many on my staff don't particularly love it so we continue to do it analog so we have the paperwork regarding 90-day reports. That said, in a prior video, I have made two prior videos now on this topic; one I had to correct myself, now apparently I have got to correct or clarify myself again.

Quoting directly from a recent email received from a viewer: "Hello, I saw your clip on YouTube about 90 day reporting. Unfortunately even the second version was not quite right. To do it online you have one week to do it from 14 days prior deadline until 7 days prior deadline and only that. No grace period after deadline. I enclose doc. from Immigration." We'll go ahead and throw this up on screen. As you can see:  "Applicants can submit this online application within 15 days and not less than 7 days before the due date of notification." So yeah, it does have its own weird sort of timing mechanism associated with 90-day reporting online. Again, that is one of the primary reasons we deal with everything in analog because we don't have to deal with all of these parameters associated with the online filing. I do appreciate the folks that send me the stuff to clarify this. I'm always happy to stand corrected.

That being said, I'm really, really tired of a lot of the trolls and whatnot in the comments saying stuff to me about "oh you can't even get this right". Seriously man, I have been doing this for free for, what are we at now, 7 years. I'm not perfect; I don't get everything right all the time. As I said, we don't generally use that device, the online reporting platform, so yeah, I am not as familiar with it as we are certain other aspects of Thai Immigration. I don't understand who these people are though that just sit around - I keep thinking of that, The Man in the Arena, I think it was Teddy Roosevelt who said that, the people who sort of "snipe from the sidelines" and it's just, to what end? I am perfectly happy to stand corrected. You know really is that how you boost your own ego, by talking about how somebody else got something wrong on some minor, subtle nuanced aspect of a system that barely anybody uses to begin with that? That's what really pumps you up in the morning? Wow, great, good for you.

In any event I stand corrected, I stand clarifying, I stand whatever. We are just trying to get the right information out there and I am going to keep doing that as long as I can.
