"Deportation On A Weekly Basis" of Foreigners In Thailand?

Transcript of the above video:

As the title of this video suggests, we are discussing deportation of foreigners in Thailand. I thought of making this video after reading a recent article from the Pattaya Mail, that is pattayamail.com, the article is titled: Foreigners working without a permit in Thailand face crackdown. Quoting directly: "Already a Crackdown has started in Phuket with several foreigners being arrested by Immigration Police, subjected to deportation on a weekly basis and banned from re-entry for up to life."

Look, as we have discussed in other videos, there has been a rash of foreigners 'behaving badly' here in Thailand, not only in a criminal capacity but also those who are disregarding the restrictions on foreign occupations in Thailand - foreigners engaging in certain types of activity that are restricted only for Thai labourers. There also seems to be a mass wave of folks who are just completely disregarding the fact that you need to have a Work Permit in order to work in Thailand at all and Thai Officials are not taking this lightly. We've done a number of videos on this; there is heavy scrutiny, heightened scrutiny associated with working in Thailand now by foreigners. I think that scrutiny is going to heighten even more and I don't think this trend is abating is my point, as we have discussed in many other videos. If anything, I think this trend may become as Stickman Bangkok put it, the 'new normal' at least for a fairly large chunk of the foreseeable future because I think Thai Authorities are wanting to rein in what they view as sort of an out of control practice by foreigners of engaging not only in work that they are not allowed to engage in here in Thailand, but also engaging in work without the proper permits to be employed here in the Kingdom of Thailand.
