Hands-On Assistance for First Time Border Runners?

Transcript of the above video:

As the title of this video suggests, we are talking about Hands-On assistance for Border Runners here in Thailand. As I have discussed in other videos, the DTV which has been rolled out roughly last year, started being implemented in roughly June. The initial lawful status duration of those initial visas was for 6 months and then effectively, as we have discussed in other videos, extension of that in-country is kind of a spotty thing. In fact, I think long-term, it's going to end up being something that's effectively not done because it's so cumbersome.

But that said, Border Running on the DTV looks like it is going to be, arguably I think it's pretty safe to say at this point in time, it's probably going to end up being the main way in which people utilize the DTV to maintain long-term status over the course of the 5-year duration of the overarching travel document. Again, getting in and out of Thailand during that 5-year time period remains to be seen as it is going to occur at the discretion of Immigration, not the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, so that's something to keep in mind. Extensions are the same way; they occur at the behest of Immigration, not Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

That being said, the point of this video is we are now offering - specifically I am offering - Hands-On Border Running Services specifically. If you want a one-to-one assistance in doing a Border Run there is no shame at all. If you have never done a Border Run and you're concerned about it, we can assist. In fact I will assist. I like to take people to a Land Border for their first time and teach them how to do a Border Run - basically boots-on-the-ground how it works, show them how it's done, run them in, run them out, get them their status sorted out and move along. And after you have done one generally, it's kind of like riding a bike, you can kind of do it on your own. I'm not saying you have to have assistance; I'm not saying it's possible not to, obviously, people can do it on their own.

But that said, for people who are a little bit nervous or have never dealt with it before, feel a bit overwhelmed, it may not be a terrible idea to contact us as again, I am going to be assisting even on a one-to-one level, with new Border Runners here in the Kingdom of Thailand.
