As the title of this video suggests, we are discussing long term Visa options and how they connect with Thai Corporate Structures. So what are we talking about?

Well this is mostly from the context of a small business sort of paradigm and what I am talking about here is folks coming to Thailand, setting up their own business and then utilizing that business as a vehicle for maintaining long-term visa status, work authorization status and eventually maybe even seeking things like Permanent Residence or citizenship, but that is really more a topic for another video specific on those topics.

But long story short, yes Thai companies can be very useful for doing business here in Thailand as well as as a vehicle to obtain work authorization so one can work legally in Thailand and then get an ongoing Visa that can be renewed on a regular basis in order to maintain long-term status. Most folks are going to come in and utilize a Thai Business Visa under those kind of circumstances. That said, it may also be possible to utilize a Thai Marriage Visa in the context of owning a small business here in Thailand and maintaining a Work Permit utilizing that vehicle as well. 

So these in my opinion are sort of the classic standard options for coming to Thailand as a business person, setting up shop and doing business here in the Kingdom. Then this can also act as a stepping stone long-term, again to things like Permanent Residence, maybe even citizenship in the long horizon for many people who wish to come and live and work in the Kingdom of Thailand.
