As the title of this video suggests, we are discussing Certificates of Entry and we are specifically discussing this in the context of dual nationals. 

We have seen some issues with respect to dual nationals most notably documentation especially where a dual national in their other passport have a different name. There has been a lot of consternation created that we have seen amongst dual nationals where they have differing names and differing documentation and they have got to rectify all that together to be able to travel. Unfortunately, the Certificate of Entry system to be able to come into Thailand, it front loads everything. That is really no room, well they see everything essentially. They want to see all documentation before they will approve the Certificate of Entry and allow that person to come into Thailand. Dual Nationals can have a real problem especially if they are planning on leaving on one passport and arriving in Thailand on another passport. That can that can be a real issue. Again it is circumstantially dependent. I am hesitant to drill down any further than that because in these circumstances it is really a good idea to have a legal professional to gain some insight and guidance on this because we have seen a lot of problems with this. 

Ultimately there is probably going to be a solution. It may not necessarily be the solution you particularly want but generally speaking there is probably a solution to these issues but it may cause some consternation; it may delay processing these issues associated with dual nationality and basically two sets of paperwork.
