As the title of this video suggests, we are discussing a proposed if you will, "travel bubble", possible "travel bubble" between Thailand and South Korea. 

A recent article from the Bangkok Post, that is bangkokpost.com, the article is titled: South Korea seeks "Travel Bubbles" with Thailand other countries. Quoting directly: "South Korea is eyeing "travel bubble" agreements with Singapore, Thailand, Taiwan, Guam and Saipan. South Korean Sports and Tourism Ministry said on Wednesday the Government is seeking "travel bubble" agreements with Thailand, Singapore, Taiwan, Guam and Saipan that will allow group trips as early as July for fully vaccinated people. Under the proposal, the bubbles would be limited between Incheon airport and a designated airport in the second country. It would mark the first step in the recovery of South Korea's tourism and airline markets, the Ministry said." So interesting, I feel like with "travel bubbles" I have been talking about a chimera for over a year. This has been discussed on this channel at length because we have seen a lot of talk on this over the past year. Various Ministries, Singapore talked about it with Thailand, I think Japan at one point was talking about it with Thailand. We have yet to see any one of these "travel bubbles" come into actual operation. So it remains to be seen whether or not it will actually happen. 

It would be interesting though if South Korea did end up forming a "travel bubble" with Thailand as Incheon airport is a major hub for those traveling even from North America into Thailand. So, there could be interesting ramifications which could come about maybe resulting in much less quarantining associated with coming from North America into Thailand if you come through South Korea for example. Again, I am purely speculating there but something to think about. Again actually seeing "Travel Bubble" rules promulgated remains to be seen in Thailand but we will certainly keep you updated on this channel as the situation progresses.
