No "Vaccine Passports" for Thailand?

Transcript of the above video:

As the title of this video suggests, we are discussing so called "Vaccine Passports". This is something we have discussed at length in a couple of videos on this channel.

We were hoping this might be the key to a quarantine free travel environment here in Thailand but apparently according to the online edition of the Bangkok Post, bangkokpost.com, the article is titled: Health Chiefs Reject Serum Passport Idea. Quoting directly: "Health Authorities have dismissed the possibility of applying the World Health Organization "Vaccine Passport" regulation for international traveling as there is still no proof any vaccines are totally effective in preventing Sars CoV-2 transmission." That to me pretty much sums things up as they sit here as of the time of this video. It does not look like "vaccine passports" so called, are going to be rolled out anytime soon. There were those, myself included, who had serious concerns about the overall ramifications of that whole program but not the point of this video.

More the point of this video is could proof of vaccination or some sort of scheme of "vaccine passport" be used as a "catch all" way of dealing with an influx of foreigners nationals trying to come into Thailand and being able to process them in quarantine free? That appears not to be the case, at least in the immediately foreseeable future so I do not think we will be seeing any of this "Vaccine Passport" notion roll out anytime soon.
