As the title of this video suggests, we are discussing online banking in Thailand. Yeah online banking, especially personal online banking in Thailand, can be really, really super-duper convenient. I have noticed a lot of people use a lot of online banking apps. There are now a lot of fintech apps out there, things like Prompt Pay associated with banking or I should say transactions of money, sort of on a spot basis, just on the ground. Now I have done videos on this; I have certain concerns regarding this whole going cashless thing. I think there are a lot of privacy concerns associated with that but that's not really the thrust of this video.

The thrust of this video deals with just specifically online banking and yes it is possible to have online banking facilities in a personal capacity; oftentimes that can be set up when one sets up a personal account and I have made another video contemporaneously with this one where I discuss personal savings account, personal current accounts here in Thailand as well as Corporate Banking which does bring us to the issue of Corporate Online Banking which can be an entirely different animal. A lot of corporate online banking can be a little bit more cumbersome than personal online banking can be here in Thailand. That said they have a lot of fraud prevention protocols in place associated with online banking in a Corporate capacity. I have had online banking facilities here in Thailand for a number of years; they work quite well. That said it may take a little bit of a learning curve to learn how to utilize these type of banking functions. For that reason, it may or may not be the most optimal way to do your Corporate Banking here in the Kingdom of Thailand.
