Paperwork Associated with Thai Business Visas?

Transcript of the above video:

As the title of this video suggests, we are discussing Thai Business Visas. I thought of making this video after reading a recent comment on one of our prior Business Visa videos. The comment went like this. Quoting directly: "Just finished signing my Visa renewal for my Non-Imm. B,” (that is non-Immigrant Business Visa) quoting further: "one inch thick, takes an hour to sign every page and some pages back in front. After 19 years, they must have a mountain of paperwork for just little old me."

Well I am here to tell you, I have seen some of the mountains of their paperwork and yeah, they come in pallets. I am not kidding, real pallets. Yeah, the paperwork associated with Business Visa and other Non-Immigrant Visa processing is substantial although I definitely will say Business Visa processing, it's a couple of phone books of paperwork it seems like every time. Now I haven't had to deal with this for some five, six years now, however long it's been since I became Thai and didn't really have to deal with the, well it goes back even further than that, but I didn't have to deal with the sort of day-to-day or year-to-year Business Visa but yeah I totally get it, I've been through it myself. I went through it at a time when quite honestly, it was a lot slower and there was even more paperwork associated with it. But yeah, there's a lot of paperwork associated with Business Visas and it is not just things people think about like passport copies or something like that. No there is accounting documentation, tax certifications, there's also tax receipts associated with the Business Visa; not only processing but approvals.

So the thing to take away from this video is yes it is quite a paperwork intensive overall process, the process of getting a Business Visa here in Thailand but like many who have come to our firm, it may not be a terrible idea to contact a legal professional, gain some insight and guidance into how best to proceed.
