As the title of this video suggests, we are discussing Thailand Elite Visas. We are specifically discussing this in the context of bankruptcy.

Actually a few people in last year have asked me about this. Yeah, strictly speaking one of the hindrances for folks being able to get a Thai Elite Visa is prior bankruptcy. It is noted on some of the websites that we have seen dealing with Thai Elite. I have never actually had to deal with anybody that ultimately wanted to get a Thailand Elite Visa, specifically in the bankruptcy context but it appears based on what we have seen from Thailand Elite, that those who have had a bankruptcy in the past may have issues getting an actual Thailand Elite Visa. 

Now that said, there may be other options with respect to being able to come to Thailand and maintain long-term status. It may be possible depending on circumstances to get a Thai Elite Visa as one's factual situation may not arise to the level of a bankruptcy for purposes of a Thai Elite Visa. That being said, it is very case specific and fact dependent so it may be a good idea to contact a legal professional to gain some insight and guidance into how best to proceed.
