The Royal Thai Consulate General in New York, NY, USA

Transcript of the above video:

As the title of this video suggests, we are discussing the Royal Thai Consulate-general in New York City, New York in the United States of America.

For those who are interested, the address of that Consulate is:

351 E 52nd St, New York City,
New York 10022, USA.

The other thing is I am going to go ahead and put this up on screen. This is an info graphic from the Thai Embassy in the US and those who live in Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut, New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania or Ohio, if you have a Visa application that you would like to process to come to Thailand for example a Thai Tourist Visa application or a Thai Business Visa application or a Thai O visa application or a Thai Retirement Visa application or a Thai Education Visa; all of these need to be processed through the Thai Consulate, New York. As noted on that map, it is divided up into Consul jurisdiction which sort of divides of the country, physically in to the different states in the United States and if you are seeking a Visa through a Consulate-general or an Embassy, you need to use the one that has jurisdiction over your state of residence.

It should also be noted certain states also have Honorary Consulates which may have concurrent and sort of supplemental jurisdiction for Visa processing but those Honorary Consulates cannot process all types of Visa applications so depending on the Visa you are seeking it may be required that you seek that visa at a Consulate-general, in this case the New York Consulate-general rather than at an Honorary Consulate

The other thing that should be kept in mind, the documentation required in seeking a Thai Business Visa or a Thai O Visa, or any of these other Non-immigrant visas including Thai Tourist visas, the documentation required can be extensive so it may be a good idea to seek the assistance of professional legal advisors in order to provide guidance and insight into the process of obtaining a visa to the Kingdom of Thailand.
