As the title of this video suggests, we are discussing the Thailand Elite Visa program. I have had a lot of people ask me in recent months "how many folks do you think are coming into Thailand on the Elite Visa?"

A recent article from thaivisa.com, the article is titled: Retirement Visa Holders Largest Group of Foreigners to Enter Thailand in October. I am just going to take a minor excerpt from this and use it for some analysis here. I urge folks who are watching this video to go check out that article directly. To quote directly from that article: "Other foreigners to enter Thailand in October included Elite Card holders (296).” So they note that in October, 296 Elite Card or Elite Visa holders entered Thailand. 

That is kind of interesting because we have been dealing with the aftermath of the COVID response here in Thailand and the Elite Visa has been of a major concern to many folks who either have the Elite or are looking to obtain an Elite in the aftermath of the COVID response and it appears that yes we are seeing a number of folks enter Thailand in Elite Visa status. 

That stated not as high a number as I would have figured. I suspect we will probably see some more folks entering Thailand with Elite as the months kind of go on. For now that appears to be what we are looking at. About 300 folks came into Thailand in Elite Visa status in October of 2020.
