As the title of this video suggests, we are discussing Business Visa processing specifically Thai Business Visa processing going into 2023. Yeah I do think we are going to be looking at some further obstacles that we haven't had to deal with the past couple of years most notably Thai Immigration has had discretion to deal with kind of unorthodox situations in a pretty efficient manner. That discretion has been pulled away with the repeal of the Emergency Decree. As we have discussed in other contexts, that can result in things getting more difficult to deal with in the context of dealing with Business Visas generally and I think that is what we are seeing frankly.

I think we are going to go into 2023, I think scrutiny is going to go up regarding Thai Business Visa documentation most notably the supporting corporate and tax documentation, I think that scrutiny is going to enhance a great deal. I think Immigration inspections are going to be much more of a common thing moving forward, so expect that and in that environment, I am not saying there is not solutions to deal with these issues, we assist clients daily here at our firm in doing precisely that. But the thing to take away from this video is yeah heightened scrutiny, more inspections, that means cases are going to take longer to process; it also means it is going to be more stressful in dealing with filing for things associated with Thai Business Visa benefits. 

So the thing to take away from this video is do I expect is this sky falling? No this isn't a Chicken Little video. I am not saying everything's going to end with regard to Thai Business Visa processing but I do think it is going to get more difficult compared to what we were dealing with for most of 2022. I think as things move forward into 2023 that trend will continue and if anything I think the difficulties may increase. So those who are kind of worried about dealing with a Thai Business Visa, it may not be a bad idea to contact a legal professional, gain some insight and guidance into how best to proceed.
