Thai Immigration's Online 90 Day Reporting System Broken?

Transcript of the above video:

As the title of this video suggests, we are discussing the 90-day Reporting System specifically the online system. I thought of making this video after reading a recent comment on our channel the header of which was: 90-day reporting online not working. "Hello Benjamin, I was wondering if you might know anything about the apparent withdrawal of online services for the 90-day reporting function, both the mobile device app and the desktop website. I have not been able to log in for six or seven weeks and recently I had to do the old-fashioned personal visit to the Pattaya-Jomtien Immigration Offices to do my latest reporting. In the past when technical issues arose, I was able to find one or two online forums to shed light on whatever the situation was but this time I can't find anything at all that explains what is currently happening or not happening. I can confirm the findings of your latest video in which you spoke about the recent building renovation at the Jomtien Immigration Office; looks really nice and the air conditioning is excellent but in recent years I have grown accustomed to doing 90-day reporting through the mobile app which although quite quirky at times was a lot more convenient than having to waste so much time going over to Jomtien. Anyway, I was just wondering if you might have an insight into the whole thing. Thank you very much for continuing to create and publish your excellent informative videos.” Thank you, and you are welcome of course.

That said yeah I have heard this. This isn't the only time we have heard this in the past couple of weeks so I thought I would make a video on it. I don't have an answer on this one other than it looks like at least for the time being, folks are going to need to do 90-day reporting in person. I will say that this is not the first time that 90-day reporting has proven to be a problem when it came to be online system, as noted even in that comment. The system has always been somewhat quirky. I don't know if they are taking it down to do a major renovation to put it back up so that it is even more efficient or if maybe we are being sort of nudged toward doing 90-day reporting in person, I can't say so for certain.

For those who are unaware, it is a requirement for those who are in Thailand on a Non-immigrant Visa longer than 89 days to continue to report their present address to Thai Immigration, so-called 90-day reporting. But yes we have heard of this problem. I haven't seen any solutions pop up yet but we will certainly keep you updated on this channel as that situation evolves.
