What Are DMHTTA Protocols in Thailand?

Transcript of the above video:

A lot of folks have been sending me correspondence regarding the Phuket Sandbox just sort of generally. One thing that has come up a couple of times, a few people have asked "what is DMHTTA?" They keep seeing this DMHTTA acronym; what is it?

I am now quoting from an article from the Phuket News that is thephuketnews.com, the article is titled: Phuket Officials Issue New Order for Sandbox Tourist Arrivals from July 1. I urge folks who are watching this video to go check that out but this is the translated protocol, this is the translated provincial order on what is going to be happening down in the Sandbox and the rules associated with it.

In article 7 it states: "Asking for cooperation from those who travel to Phuket, comply with measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19, DMHTTA including, distance = keeping distance between each other, that is the D; M, Mask Wearing = Always wear a cloth mask, hygienic mask, that is the M; H, hand washing = wash your hands often, there is the H; T temperature = measure temperature; T testing, test for COVID-19; A ,application, install and scan the application Thai Chana and Mor Chana. I think Thailand Plus probably is part of that too; we have discussed that in other videos. So yeah, that is what you are looking at. It is distancing, mask wearing, hand washing, temperature testing, application; that is what that acronym stands for.

So I suspect they are going to be pretty stringent on a lot of these rules for folks down in the Phuket Sandbox so those who are looking to come in and use the Phuket Sandbox be aware that they are going to be certain protocols that need to be adhered to for those who wish to come to Thailand specifically Phuket and take advantage of this truncated and more accessible, not as overwhelming a quarantine experience. Again you get free roam of the island etc. but they have these protocols in place that they want folks to follow while they are in the island during this 14 day period.
