I probably should have made this video earlier in the year but I am making it now here in July of 2023. When to apply for a Thai Permanent Residence, when to start working on it, when to apply? 

Well the application itself is going to occur when the window opens to take Thai Immigration, excuse me to take Thai Permanent Residence applications. That generally happens in December or around about the end of the year, the calendar year. It has been opened earlier in the past but these days right now, you are probably going to be looking at it opening later on in the year. Now why am I making this in July? Because, just because the window is open the preparation process is substantial. If you want to get Permanent Residence in Thailand, you are going to have to put in a lot of documentation and you are going to have to be prepared to file it at the time that the window opens. So 'prior planning prevents poor performance' as they say. Yeah honestly, multiple months in advance quite honestly out here in the summer, this is about the optimal time to start preparing the documentation associated with Thai Permanent Residence so as to be prepared to get a petition on file quickly when the window actually opens.
