Application For A K-1 Fiancée Visa After Tourist Visa Denial?

Transcript of the above video:

As the title of this video suggests, we are discussing K-1 Visa applications occurring subsequent to a denied application for a US Tourist Visa. The question often posed by people is a) "Can I do it?" and yeah, you can apply for a Fiancée Visa if you have been denied for a Tourist Visa. The next question is, "Is it going to impact my later application?" In the past, I would often tell people don't worry too much about that. These days, I did a video going back a few months ago, I referenced another Immigration Attorney, Mr. Jim Hacking back in the United States, he was talking about where they were using, this was in a lot of African cases, they were using prior denial, previously denied applications, they were sort of comparing them to the later application for a Fiancé Visa and then apparently sort of using this to, I hesitate to use this term this way, but make problems, just sort of try to look for something that they could hang their hat on in terms of a discrepancy where they might be able to say there was some sort of misrepresentation at play or something of this nature. Now we haven't really seen that out here in Southeast Asia thus far, it remains to be seen. My mind is always open to the possibility that the process could get more difficult, so you never know, it could happen. Long story short, yes it is possible to apply for a K-1 Fiancée Visa after you have been denied a Tourist Visa if a Tourist Visa denial has occurred.

That said, in my opinion it is probably a better idea if you are seeing this video before applying for anything, it is probably a better idea to contact a legal professional before making any move with regard to a Visa so you can ascertain what options you have and what might be the most optimal visa to obtain.
