As the title of this video suggests, we are discussing K-1 Fiancé Visas and specifically we are discussing the show, what is it? Now I am forgetting the title myself, 90 Day Fiancé. I know there are a few shows that may kind of have a similar premise to this. I actually have used this as a hashtag a few times when we put up some of our videos on the topic of the K-1 Fiancé Visa. I haven't seen a lot of the show, I have seen a few episodes; I have seen a few clips of different episodes. Somebody asked me the other day they said "you do a lot of Fiancé Visas. Is 90 Day Fiancé like what it is like, the process and all of that?" My response to that is, "It depends. I have seen different episodes of that show and they are wildly different from episode to episode." 

So the first thing to understand is yeah, look circumstances more than anything are going to dictate how the process works. So from that perspective, some episodes of 90 Day Fiancé may be very similar to what one group of people experiences in the process of getting a Fiancé Visa. Meanwhile, other episodes are going to be more like somebody else's experience. Again it is very circumstantially dependent. Meanwhile, you have got to remember, I see this whole thing in a very different light from people who have to go through it. I am very cognizant of that by the way. I have been told before by clients that have gone through Immigration Processing to the United States with me, they have told me before that is like, look you become kind of a robot as the process wears on because people get frustrated, they ask questions that are about frustrating situations and I just answer like very kind of coldly, not without sympathy, but it is like a robot, it is just this is the situation you are in, this is what's going on. 

In the 90 Day Fiancé shows or at least the ones that I have seen, there is a lot of drama and things going on there. Well there's not a lot of drama going on when I am communicating with people about their Fiancé Visa and what's going on in the process. Where there is maybe some drama is in people's personal lives; I can't really speak to that. 

That said, is 90 Day Fiancé overly indicative of what it is like to get a K-1 Fiancé Visa from Thailand? I would say there are certain aspects of it that are somewhat similar and there are certain things that are wildly different than anything we ever deal with here when we are processing cases through the Embassy here in Bangkok.
