US Embassy Thailand Rescheduling K-3 Visa Interviews

Transcript of the above video:

As the title of this video suggests, we are discussing the interviews associated with K-3 Visa applications.

For those unaware, as of basically March 2020 the Embassy basically shut down in their response to COVID and basically we haven't seen any interviews proceed since then.

It has now been announced that as of October 1, 2020 they are going to start having Visa appointments or they are going to get the ball rolling again if you will with scheduling Visa interviews.

Now I want to be clear, "rescheduling". These are Visa interviews that were previously scheduled that were canceled, affirmatively cancelled, not necessarily cases that were right up to the point of interview but an interview date had yet to be set. We remain to see exactly what is happening with respect to those kind of cases. We are working with our clients and the Embassy as best we can to ascertain at what point we are going to see those interviews being scheduled so that things move forward.

That said, there is already a pretty substantial backlog associated with the cases that were already canceled and so dealing with those is going to be something of a tricky endeavor as we are dealing with the reopening of the Embassy for interviews for K-3 visas as of the time of this video.
