US Visa Services Suspended at the US Embassy Thailand?

Transcript of the above video:

As the title of this video suggests, we are discussing suspension of US Visa Services here at the US Embassy in Bangkok. I thought of making this video actually after we came upon in the Thai language press over at Thai Rath an announcement that: US Visa Services suspended for System Improvements on September 26 and 27.

"The US Embassy and Consulate in Thailand announced a suspension of Visa services for system improvements on September 26 and 27. Visa services will resume operation on September 28th. During the suspension, Visa applicants will not be able to make or change appointment dates."

So yeah, over the course of the upcoming couple of days it looks like they are going through some routine maintenance over at the US Embassy, specifically the Consular section and they are tasked with adjudicating and issuing visas to the United States. It looks like they are going through a system maintenance over there; they are having their website sort of upgraded and improved.

For those who are unaware, I have been doing US immigration Law from out here for 17 years now, going on 17 years now. We deal with the Embassy quite frequently. It is sort of the culmination of the process to go ahead and get an Embassy interview or an interview for the Visa, an appointment to do an interview with the Consular Section, so this appointment system is quite integral to the overall Visa process and we will certainly keep you updated on this channel if the situation evolves.
