What Are Your Fees for a K-1 Visa from Cambodia?

Transcript of the above video:

As the title of this video suggests, we are discussing K-1 Visas from Cambodia. I am specifically making this video in the context of, we get enquiries rather frequently where folks ask is, "Can you please give us a breakdown of your fees for visas from Cambodia?" and that is all they will say. They will just say how much do you charge for a K-1 Visa from Cambodia? How much do you charge to get my fiancée a visa from Cambodia? My short answer to that is, I don't know because I don't know the factual circumstances of your case.

There is kind of a presumption out there in the collective consciousness that surrounds US Immigration from Southeast Asia that there is like this fixed rate at which we can do everything. That is really not the way it works. We need to go ahead and ascertain the given facts of the given situation in your case. We need to understand your beneficiary's history; whether or not that person has a criminal history, what their Immigration history is to the United States, if any. All of this factors in and we need to communicate with you and we need to correspond with you in order to get an idea of where things stand in order to provide a quotation. So we are not trying to jack up the fee price or something by talking to you. We are simply trying to ascertain what the situation is in your case. In certain cases and unfortunately a lot of unscrupulous and a lot of fake lawyers as I call them, that are out here especially in Southeast Asia that claim to be able to assist with this, they may know full well that you are not even eligible for a Visa and they will take your money anyway and go through the motions and it will result in a denial. Well they have your money and they don't really care.

So the thing to take away from this video is, it is a good idea to get a quotation and understand that sending us an email that just simply says what do you charge to do a K-1? My fiancée is a Khmer nationality; that is not enough for us to provide a quote. We need to have the background, we need to know what is going on in the case, we need to know about you your history and we need to know about your fiancée and their history. After we have that information we can provide a quotation.  Again, it is not some exercise in trying to raise up fees. We have seen people accuse us of that before. That is not it at all. It is just we need to know what the situation is in order to provide a quotation.
