What Vaccines Are Required for K-3, CR-1, IR-1 Visas from Thailand?

Transcript of the above video:

As the title of this video suggests, we are discussing vaccinations in the context of K-3, CR-1 and IR-1 Visas, so US Marriage Visas basically.

Let me preface this by saying yeah the situation is fluid right now. I have had a lot of folks contacting me about this over the past week or two and I do understand people's consternation on this. We are doing the best that we can to try and keep cases moving but at the end of the day the rubber is going to hit the road on this overall issue with the medical examiner, the Civil Surgeon who is giving the medical exam, administering the medical exam essentially at the behest of the Embassy in order to go ahead and process that individual through the Embassy, get them a visa, have them deemed to be medically fit to enter the United States and then move on.

So what to take away from this video? Well presently the situation is pretty fluid here in Thailand in the sense that especially with respect to issues surrounding the pandemic, different kinds of vaccines have been issued to different people. Folks have had them in different combinations, so I don't really have a direct answer for folks as to "oh you have to do X, Y and Z, there is a magic formula." Presently I would say that is not the case. Again the medical examiner is going to make their determination based on the specific circumstances in any given case. Meanwhile life is moving on. We are moving these cases through as best we can. So different cases are going to probably be looked at and scrutinized differently and the facts in those cases are going to be different from case to case so there is no one answer to this overall question.

That stated, I suspect as the months roll forward we will probably have more insight on this in a more specific way and we will certainly make further videos on this channel as the situation evolves.
