As the title of this video suggests, we are discussing so-called "travel corridors" if you will down to Koh Samui, Koh Phangan, and Koh Tao. This came to my attention from a recent article in the Bangkok Post, that is bangkokpost.com, the article is titled: New Conditions Set for Reopening. Quoting directly: "The CCSA meeting also approved in principal opening the sealed routes on three islands, Koh Samui, Koh Phangan, and Koh Tao to join the reopening plan from July 15th. However tourists who want to visit these islands have to follow additional restrictions. They must stay at Alternative Local Quarantine Hotels and spend the first three days on the hotel premises before being permitted to travel via sealed routes on Samui between days 4 to 7. They can hop to Koh Phangan and Koh Tao from Days 8 to 14." 

So again it does appear that Authorities here in Thailand are trying to come up with some more creative ways of getting tourists into Thailand; of stimulating tourism to Thailand, and hopefully providing some accommodation for folks who need some much needed relaxation down in Koh Samui.

Now again, the details of this have yet to be hammered out. We have yet to actually see as of the time of this video, the Phuket "Sandbox" initiative to be brought online. So all of this is still out in the ether and believe me when I say this, we have had a lot of false starts with some of these plans over the past roughly 15 months so until we see this operational, it is probably a good idea to not make any presumptions as to how this is going to operate or the details around exactly how one would come to Thailand and then get down to Samui. We have yet to see exactly how this is going to play out we will certainly keep you updated on this channel as the situation evolves.
