As the title of this video suggests, I am not really trying to be snarky. There is kind of an element of I don't know maybe a little bit of cynicism here but it has been a long time. Look, April of 2021 up to now this has been a very trying time to be in Thailand. What I am hoping is we are going to see really positive things start to happen especially November 1 and December. 

That said, it is probably expectation management time especially for folks who are for long viewers of this channel. We have seen these circumstances before where it looks like things are moving in a certain direction only to have the rug pulled out from under us. I am hoping that doesn't happen. I really, really do genuinely hope that does not occur. I really want to see Thailand reopen in November and then in December supposedly we are going to see major changes like hopefully the rescission of the alcohol ban which in my mind I can't make any sense of at this point, but okay whatever. They didn't ask me but I am hoping for the best. This isn't a video trying to be negative. I have been accused in some correspondence of being overly negative in some of these videos. It is not really my goal. I am trying to put things out there as best I can and try and explain the reality as best I can.

Long story short, we don't know what is going to happen on November 1. We have a really good idea based on what Government Spokespersons including the Prime Minister himself have said should be happening November 1 and possibly December 1 but again we don't know for sure. So the point of this video and the title, it was not meant to be overly sarcastic. I am just trying to kind of sum up the feeling here in late October of 2021 as to how I feel things feel. It is kind of palpable to me that everybody is just sitting around waiting for these miracles to come to pass.
