COVID Testing in Alternative State Quarantine in Thailand

Transcript of the above video:

As the title of this video suggests we are discussing COVID-19 and Alternative State Quarantine.

I have had a number of folks over the past weeks and months ask me, "What is it like in there?" And my answer to that is basically is: "it is 2 weeks in a hotel. You are just stuck in there." is basically the answer to that.

Recently one of our clients gave us a brief synopsis of what it was like in their intake and I wanted to discuss specifically COVID testing inside alternative State quarantine using the insights provided via their observations. Quoting directly: "Last night at 7:00 p.m. two nurses from the Thai Health Department came and swabbed us for a COVID test. Someone from the Health Department just called to tell us both tests were negative and someone from the Health Department will come tomorrow and issue us our yellow armband so we can leave our room for 2 hours a day and walk around the common areas."

Basically in my opinion that was rather insightful. They come in, they test you. Once you come up negative then you are accorded some freer movement within the facility. Then as noted in prior videos on this channel, you are going to be tested more than once. Generally speaking, it has been our experience folks get tested at least three times before they leave the quarantine facility after their 14-day period under quarantine.

So I hope that provides some insight to folks into how this all works. We will continue to make videos on this channel regarding the topic of quarantine as it is pertinent.
