The Trump Administration has paused the issuance of Immigrant Visa and K Visas in order to retool the analysis for the public charge rule although interviews are now being scheduled for April at the earliest.

The Trump Administration has imposed a pause on Immigrant Visas such as the CR-1 and IR-1 Visa, which should not apply to the K-1 Visa which is a Non-Immigrant Visa, although the holder has immigrant intentions.

The sale of fake goods is considered a crime involving moral turpitude which will impact one's ability to obtain a visa to the US unless one applies for an I-601 waiver which could delay the process, especially at the present time.

Derivative Visas are available for holders of K-1 and K-3 Visas who have children they wish to take with them to the US but at present, delays may be expected due to the Trump Visa pause.

Nationals of certain countries who apply for a Tourist Visa to the US are required to deposit a fairly large sum which will be held until they arrive back home without any issues.
